Meetups

Meetups are a long-running initiative for wellbeing and community at CUC Goulburn. Meetups offer a range of opportunities for students to get to know and support each other, take a well-earned break from study and have fun. From our first lunch welcoming new students to our annual Christmas party, there are events to join in on throughout the academic calendar year.

On Course

On Course is the result of a partnership between CUC Goulburn, the University of Canberra, the Australian National University and the University of Wollongong, enabled by funding provided by the Australian Government. The program aims to increase engagement in schooling, uptake of educational pathways that lead to a higher education post-school decision, and access to higher education for students from high schools in the Goulburn Mulwaree and Upper Lachlan regions. The On Course program began in 2024, with a Year 10 outreach program run by local mentors piloted at Goulburn High, Mulwaree High, Crookwell High and Trinity College. In 2025, the program will expand to include events for other year groups.

Uni101

Supporting senior high school students and their families with the transition to university, Uni101 events are a series of practical information nights to assist attendees with UAC, early admission, and alternate entry applications, scholarships, and accommodation, and much more. Events bring representatives from local and online universities to answer questions direct from families as well as provide practical assistance with application processes.

Link&Learn

A new name for industry events held at CUC Goulburn each year, the Link&Learn program highlights and helps to make connections between local employment and education opportunities. Events are a platform for networking - connecting employers with CUC Goulburn students and graduates, assisting students in their transition to the local workforce, and keeping businesses, organisations and their employees informed of the many opportunities for further study available.

UOW Year 12 Future Me Program

A structured program exploring post-high school options, skill development and application assistance, each year the UOW Year 12 Future Me program helps local Goulburn Mulwaree and Upper Lachlan students in their transition to uni. The program runs for 6 weeks. Students who complete the program and apply for UOW Early Admission will be flagged with UOW Admissions.

UC Prep

UC Prep is a 14-week pathways program or bridging course for those who finished school a while ago, haven’t studied for some time or are looking to upskill, retrain or move into the para-professional world. If you’re over 21 and interested in applying for uni, but don’t currently meet the entry requirements, the UC Prep program can help develop your skills and qualify you for admission. UC Prep runs several times a year direct from CUC Goulburn. Students can apply for an Education Bursary to attend in-person sessions.
